Another Early Night

In the Sunday night freeroll. Came down to two hands really. Not really sure if there was much else I could do.

This was gross. Maybe could have gotten away from this pre but I knew seat8 was going to have a wide range here cause he lost a big pot the hand before that put him down to 200. So not respecting his shove at all. SB flatted and I figured I could come in and we'd all be nice and check the hand down. Nope. Minbet, minraise right into me on the flop. Could I have gotten away from it here for these pathetic bet sizes? Hardly. But I could have easily lost my entire stack here so I'm still in it.

Actually thought about just shoving pre when it was limped to me in the BB but at this table I doubled that I could get it through. Top pair and a gutterball was good enough for me to get it in on this flop and went with it. Was not going to be deterred by SB's donk bet of course. Absolutely disgusted that I got two calls behind. Not sure which was worse, flatting with top set on that wet of a board or calling with middle pair and a backdoor flush draw (that of course had to come in).

I got a chuckle though out of that guy with TT losing when he didn't put in a raise with that hand preflop or on the flop. I of course cannot help myself as I type "LOL, should have shoved on the flop buddy" as I exit the table. Finished 111 out of 203 or so. The tourney seemed to be moving at a good pace and noticed they were going to pay 40 instead of 50, but that is fine cause it's the same $500 prize pool. Maybe next week I'll actually get some good hands in this.
