Another hand where I thought I was going to be gone. Floated the minbet on the flop and wasn't sure if I was going to be good here on the turn or not but can't really just call this down. Fortunately they both fold and I take this down. Get to the break shortly after. Manage to take down some blinds/antes and then this happens.

I spike the ace on the turn and then celebrate like I had never won a hand before in my life! At this point we're down to the final 3 tables and people are dropping like flies. I'm in a spot in the BB where I feel like the situation dictates that I gamble here. So I stick it in and figure to be in a good situation most of the time, maybe even ahead, but had to win a flip and I did. Got down to the final 18 shortly after that, and still trying to hang in there.

My turn to suckout. That's good enough to get me to the final table, but as you saw in the pic from my last post my chip count wasn't too good compared to the other stacks. We lose 1 pretty quickly and we're down to 8, then 7. I'm getting shit for cards and my 24k is down to 15k, when I open shove UTG+2 with K9o and get it through to get back to 24k. Blinds and antes go up very next hand to 2500/5000-625 and I'm faced with a situation where I'm going to have to shove again. Get Q6o UTG+1 and pass. Very next hand:

I collect $12 for my 7th place finish which is actually more than my other 3 final tables in the past week combined. What a week of poker though. Unreal. Still want to get a win but I'm close and one of these times it's going to happen. The problem is that the maniacs are the ones that have the chip leads usually, so you gotta get it from them at the final table and that takes some luck. I'll gladly take these results though.

My turn to suckout. That's good enough to get me to the final table, but as you saw in the pic from my last post my chip count wasn't too good compared to the other stacks. We lose 1 pretty quickly and we're down to 8, then 7. I'm getting shit for cards and my 24k is down to 15k, when I open shove UTG+2 with K9o and get it through to get back to 24k. Blinds and antes go up very next hand to 2500/5000-625 and I'm faced with a situation where I'm going to have to shove again. Get Q6o UTG+1 and pass. Very next hand:

I collect $12 for my 7th place finish which is actually more than my other 3 final tables in the past week combined. What a week of poker though. Unreal. Still want to get a win but I'm close and one of these times it's going to happen. The problem is that the maniacs are the ones that have the chip leads usually, so you gotta get it from them at the final table and that takes some luck. I'll gladly take these results though.
