So Long Dragonroom

Heard some scuttlebutt on the online internet this week that 5Dimes was going to exit the US market and that people should get their money out of there. So that prompted me to go into my GrandPoker account and request a cashout. Didn't have much optimism that they were actually going to give me the money, based on what happened the last time I tried to cash out. Actually made a good run of it turning $0 and some GPPs into $106. Figured I'd request a cashout of $100 and then still have a few bucks to play with if I felt the urge.

So went through the process for cashing out. First tried to move the $100 to the sportsbook and then go through that but still no option on the website to cash out; had to request it via email. Also the only real option was to go through bitcoin, which actually isn't terrible even though I wasn't a fan of that method a couple of years ago. I actually got a pretty quick response, but it wasn't really one I wanted to see: "Our poker department has to review your request before we can process this cashout". Here we go again, lol. 

A few days pass and I hear nothing. So I send another email. Took about a day to get a response and surprisingly the cashout was approved. However, the representative also told me that they decided to close my poker account, but I'm still welcome to use their sportsbook and casino. Got a nice notice on my phone this afternoon that the funds were put into my bitcoin account (a mere .000969700 BTC). I will take it. 

Not going to bother to fight them on the poker room ban, or even inquire as to what the reasoning behind that was. I'm sure they consider me freerolling scum and it's hard to blame them. Regardless I've been playing on ACR anyway which has a much bigger player pool and has been running a lot of freerolls. Not big money involved but have a high ITM% and have close to $2 on there now. The PLO ones especially have been stupid easy to cash in with people playing exceptionally bad in those. With the bitcoin funds I could possibly make a deposit on there now as well.

Had another bad session yesterday. Actually I didn't play badly at all, I just took two horrible beats. I was taking a shot at NL $50 too. Lost to JJ twice. One hand I had 55 in a raised pot, I called from the BB, and flopped a set (9-6-5 flop I believe). Anyway, get it in with a half stack, he has JJ, river J. Great. Another hand I have KK and resolve to play a big pot with it. I raise to $3, SB calls. Flop comes 9 high, he checks, I bet pot, he calls. Turn is a blank, same action. River is a jack, he shoves for the remaining PSB, I call. He has JJ, sigh. Really wish I didn't keep getting two outed. So tonight I decide to take a shot at $100 NL (6-max of course) after the Red Sox beat the Rockies 2-1 due to great pitching to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Alright so I haven't updated in a while, also haven't been playing either. Recently Full Tilt offered me a $50 bonus without having to make a deposit so I've been playing a little bit. Probably only going to clear $10 of the bonus, really just can't get into playing much anymore with work and other stuff like bowling, which I've really gotten into over the past 4 months occupying my time. Anyway, tonight I sat down at a $100 PLO8 table. Morris Chestnut was at the table and I wa able to jump in and be top on the waiting list because it's PLO8. After about 10 minutes I got in. It was a pretty boring game, not much action, most of the table was playing tight. I thought there would be more action with a red pro being at the table and was hoping to see some hold'em donks occupying some seats at this table. I was up a few dollars when this hand took place. Fantasy Football Spreadsheet

A few days ago I was looking online for a point calculator for fantasy football (too cheap to spend the $10 on StatTracker). Something where I can enter the players stats and calculate the total points. Unable to find one, I made it myself, in excel. I figure it might be useful to someone who happens to come across this post, so here's the link to it. It uses the default yahoo league configurations, so if your league is different you'll have to go and change some of the numbers in the formulas, or positions, or whatever. Otherwise you put the stats in the left hand column, and the points will appear on the right. I made it so there are no partial points, and so it rounds down. For example, if your QB has 249 passing yards, you will get exactly 9 points, not 10, not 9.9. The only points it does not calculate is points allowed for team defenses.
