Almost didn't want to call this but then I realized I'm playing in a freeroll with donks. Had the guy outkicked for top pair and also for the flush draw. Also the guy with 88 drawing to only 1 out. So had over 90% equity when the money went in, I'll take those odds any day of the week.

I folded for awhile after that and I was actually just hoping to take this down preflop with a big reraise. Original raiser went into the tank and finally folded but the next guy called with another AK. Why he did not just shove originally I'll never know. Chop it up.

Actually decided to give up the lead here after the flop and was hoping to keep the pot small but this guy would not oblige. I just couldn't give him credit for a hand here and went with it on the turn. He went into the tank before finally calling after he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. About 85/15 this time when the money went in. I like when I can get the chips without having to push small edges.
At this point I was able to coast into the money and was guaranteed at least $.06. But I had been bleeding chips for a bit to blinds and antes and was hoping to get a double up since I was now below average stack.

Lost the minimum there, but yuck. I figured it was a WA/WB situation on the flop so I checked it to the big stack hoping he'd try and bet me off of it. When the turn came I knew it was the worst card in the deck that could have rolled off. Not sure if I would have called a river bet, but also not sure if he floats me with A high if I do bet the flop. Just a bad turn card. Still in it.

Does this count as a successful stop & go? Was happy to get this semibluff through. Thought about just open shoving but figured it would look too much like I was trying to end the hand right then and there. Aannnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I'm gone. Jam it into two big pocket pairs, well played me. Honestly this was a jam I made based on the payscale of the tournament. I had locked up $.11 but each pay bump was just $.01 more for every 8 eliminations. The big jumps didn't happen until the final table. So I had first in vigorish in the HJ and I went with it. Unfortunately jammed it right into AA and TT and couldn't get the lucky runout.
So up to $.22 on the site now. Liking that they are doing these money freerolls. I didn't really have to invest a long period of time to play, I registered in level 2 and played for less than 2 hours. Much better than the venom step freerolls. Actually reminds me of the freerolls that Empire Poker used to do back in the glory days of online poker. It would be every night, turbo format with 5 minute blinds and it ran pretty quick. The cashes would be pretty small but I would just play them and bank it until I got up to $5, sit at a cash table, run it up to $50 and have them send me a check. Games were a lot easier back then.

I folded for awhile after that and I was actually just hoping to take this down preflop with a big reraise. Original raiser went into the tank and finally folded but the next guy called with another AK. Why he did not just shove originally I'll never know. Chop it up.

Actually decided to give up the lead here after the flop and was hoping to keep the pot small but this guy would not oblige. I just couldn't give him credit for a hand here and went with it on the turn. He went into the tank before finally calling after he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. About 85/15 this time when the money went in. I like when I can get the chips without having to push small edges.
At this point I was able to coast into the money and was guaranteed at least $.06. But I had been bleeding chips for a bit to blinds and antes and was hoping to get a double up since I was now below average stack.

Lost the minimum there, but yuck. I figured it was a WA/WB situation on the flop so I checked it to the big stack hoping he'd try and bet me off of it. When the turn came I knew it was the worst card in the deck that could have rolled off. Not sure if I would have called a river bet, but also not sure if he floats me with A high if I do bet the flop. Just a bad turn card. Still in it.

Aannnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I'm gone. Jam it into two big pocket pairs, well played me. Honestly this was a jam I made based on the payscale of the tournament. I had locked up $.11 but each pay bump was just $.01 more for every 8 eliminations. The big jumps didn't happen until the final table. So I had first in vigorish in the HJ and I went with it. Unfortunately jammed it right into AA and TT and couldn't get the lucky runout.
So up to $.22 on the site now. Liking that they are doing these money freerolls. I didn't really have to invest a long period of time to play, I registered in level 2 and played for less than 2 hours. Much better than the venom step freerolls. Actually reminds me of the freerolls that Empire Poker used to do back in the glory days of online poker. It would be every night, turbo format with 5 minute blinds and it ran pretty quick. The cashes would be pretty small but I would just play them and bank it until I got up to $5, sit at a cash table, run it up to $50 and have them send me a check. Games were a lot easier back then.
