Ace Motherfucking X

Sorry for lack of updates, was moving over the last week so didn't get to play much. Did get into 2 LOLMAHAs and bubbled both times. First time I was pretty low in chips and didn't rebuy at the break just hoping that two people would bust and I could at least sneak into the money (which was $1.50 in this for 3rd due to about 9 or 10 total entrants and a lot of busts before the add-on period). But it didn't happen. Had to get it in with a marginal hand (AQJ3 or something like that) and busted.

Then the other night I play again and low in chips but flop the nut flush on an all spade board and end up getting open-shoved into before I could even decide how I wanted to play the hand. Guy had 3rd nut flush and doubled me up. Was in a decent chip position on the bubble and had a free play with K♠7♠xx in the BB and flopped the 2nd nut flush. I just check because the maniac that doubled me up the hand before was raising to all sorts of crazy amounts (like 4k preflop with 250/500 blinds) and I wanted to let him hang himself. It was 3 handed until the river and I slowplayed it all the way as the flop and turn get checked through and I checked the river (the board did not pair so I still had 2nd nuts). He shoved all-in for 5800 and I insta-called. He had the nut flush and had me slightly covered at that point. That fucking moron. He's only going to get paid off if I had the hand that I did and by my play and the play of my other opponent in the hand there's no way he could expect a 5800 bet to be called, even with his image. But thanks to that cooler I bubble again.

So last night I wanted to try again but the tournament didn't run. Sat down in a full ring $.05/$.10 cash game and just about the whole session could be summed up in hands involving Ax.

 People used to respect a bet. I probably should have known this wasn't going to work and was too ambitious (and didn't bet the flop or turn for this reason; this game was very loose once people put money in PF). Turned out to be the right decision as he wasn't going anywhere on the flop or turn with the nutterball, but wasted some $ on the river.

Same villain and he shows how great of a player he is by calling a preflop raise and then a flop shove into 4 opponents with A9. Like that could ever be the best hand.

Not even worth it to reraise here preflop since I'm OOP and they never fold anyhow. So got in there cheaply with the hope of making a hand and stacking someone off. Unfortunately got a gross board and didn't put another chip in.

He had A2! Really wasn't happy with the prospect of having to get it in here with top pair and a marginal kicker, but after this guy stacked off with 88 on the J high board the hand before it's an easy call.

Had another bad session yesterday. Actually I didn't play badly at all, I just took two horrible beats. I was taking a shot at NL $50 too. Lost to JJ twice. One hand I had 55 in a raised pot, I called from the BB, and flopped a set (9-6-5 flop I believe). Anyway, get it in with a half stack, he has JJ, river J. Great. Alright so I haven't updated in a while, also haven't been playing either. Recently Full Tilt offered me a $50 bonus without having to make a deposit so I've been playing a little bit. Probably only going to clear $10 of the bonus, really just can't get into playing much anymore with work and other stuff like bowling, which I've really gotten into over the past 4 months occupying my time. Anyway, tonight I sat down at a $100 PLO8 table. Morris Chestnut was at the table and I wa able to jump in and be top on the waiting list because it's PLO8. After about 10 minutes I got in. It was a pretty boring game, not much action, most of the table was playing tight. I thought there would be more action with a red pro being at the table and was hoping to see some hold'em donks occupying some seats at this table. I was up a few dollars when this hand took place. Took the afternoon off Friday and headed to Foxwoods. Got to the poker room at around 2 and I was looking to play 4/8 Omaha8. However, the list was about 8 people long, and the person at the desk said that there was an interest list going for 1/2 Pot-Limit O8. It was open seating at that point, so I joined in and soon we had a full table of 10 people and the game got going. Early on I made a pretty bad blunder with a strong hand. I had A Q 4 2 on the button and called a $6 raise. One of the blinds also called and the flop came with 2 clubs and 2 low cards, giving me a Q-high flush draw and the nut low draw. I called a $12 bet from the preflop raiser, the other player folded and we were heads up. The turn was the 5 , completing both of my draws. The PFR checked and I checked behind (I know, terrible).
