Two PLO Hands

Saw a couple of PLO games going with really big pots, so jumped in. Here's two key hands from the session.

MP: $19.40
Hero (CO): $17.50
BTN: $46.30
SB: $41.60
BB: $37.80
UTG: $16.90

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is CO with 55 of clubs AA of clubs AA of spades 44 of diamonds
1 fold, MP raises to $1.75, Hero calls $1.75, BTN calls $1.75, 1 fold, BB calls $1.25

Play was pretty agressive, much different from the PLO8 games I've been playing. I get a nice hand 1 off the button and just decide to smooth call with it and see a flop. Most players would probably reraise, but I think just calling and taking a flop here is ok, and disguises my hand nicely.

Flop: ($7.25) AA of hearts 66 of clubs 77 of clubs (4 players)
BB bets $7.25, MP requests TIME, MP folds, Hero calls $7.25, BTN folds

I get the best flop possible. Top set, nut flush draw, and open ended straight draw. BB leads out, I just smooth call again.

Turn: ($21.75) 22 of hearts (2 players)
BB bets $21.75, Hero calls $8.50 all in

He puts me all-in on the turn, wish I had bought in for more.

River: ($38.75) 55 of hearts (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $38.75

Hero shows 55 of clubs AA of clubs AA of spades 44 of diamonds (three of a kind, Aces)
BB shows QQ of spades TT of diamonds AA of diamonds 33 of clubs (a pair of Aces)
Hero wins $36.85
(Rake: $1.90)

Terrible hand sir, 87% favorite on the flop, thank you very much. Slowplaying has really become a lost art in this brave new aggressive world.

BTN: $75.30
SB: $24.00
BB: $212.75
UTG: $25.75
MP: $28.20
Hero (CO): $33.25

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is CO with 99 of clubs JJ of diamonds KK of clubs JJ of clubs
2 folds, Hero calls $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, SB calls $0.25, BB checks

Probably a weak call here PF. I didn't want to raise b/c the blinds were pretty aggressive and I couldn't stand a reraise. We take a flop 4 ways. In retrospect probably should have just thrown it away.

Flop: ($2.00) 77 of diamonds 99 of hearts JJ of spades (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $1.50, BTN raises to $6.50, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls $5

I flop top set and bet $1.50. Button raises to $6.50. I had viewed him as a pretty solid TAG. Hasn't gotten out of line. FWIW had one previous hand against him when we were blind vs. blind. I flopped trip aces, and after us both checking the flop, I checkraised the turn. He folded. Getting back to this hand, my range for him at this point was 77/99/T8. Probably leaning towards T8 at this point. Of course I'm holding one of the 9s so that makes 99 less likely. I elected to take one off closing the action to see if I can turn a boat or failing that see what he does.

Turn: ($15.00) TT of clubs (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $15, Hero folds

Instamucked here. With the turn bet now I was thinking he had QT8x and his straight has just improved. In any case, couldn't really see him betting out full pot with a lower set, so I dumped it.

Final Pot: $15.00
BTN wins $14.25
(Rake: $0.75)

Won a few bucks, cleared $5 more of my bonus. So only $5 more to go. May not even have to wait until next week to clear this off.
