Played an Omaha session tonight. There were 4 hands that stood out. Here they are.

BB: $48.50
UTG: $9.25
UTG+1: $30.30
UTG+2: $55.50
Hero (MP1): $26.55
MP2: $48.50
CO: $49.85
BTN: $36.00
SB: $52.00

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is MP1 with 33 of diamonds AA of diamonds 99 of spades KK of spades
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, UTG+2 calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.50, 6 folds, UTG+2 calls $2

Early in the session, I elect to raise with this hand after a few limpers. Player to my immediate right calls it.

Flop: ($6.25) QQ of spades KK of hearts 77 of diamonds (2 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets $3.50, UTG+2 calls $3.50

Standard continuation bet. I have TPTK, but also two backdoor flush draws. I get called

Turn: ($13.25) 55 of spades (2 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero checks

I turn the 2nd nut low draw and a flush draw, I elect to take a free card.

River: ($13.25) 88 of clubs (2 players)
UTG+2 bets $13.25, Hero calls $13.25

He bets pot and I make a stupid call thinking that I'm not going to let him push me off half the pot. I don't know why I didn't think the hand over more thoroughly, he called the flop, he can't have naked A2, and he obviously likes this card on the river. So it should be no surprise that he rolled over...

Final Pot: $39.75

UTG+2 shows KK of diamonds 22 of spades 88 of spades AA of spades (HI: two pair, Kings and Eights; LO: 8,7,5,2,A)
Hero mucks 33 of diamonds AA of diamonds 99 of spades KK of spades
UTG+2 wins $18.90
UTG+2 wins $18.90
(Rake: $1.95)

Alright bad call, but we move on.

UTG+1: $16.15
MP1: $53.35
MP2: $14.70
Hero (CO): $21.55
BTN: $19.10
SB: $27.45

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is CO with AA of hearts 22 of diamonds KK of hearts KK of diamonds
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 1 fold, MP2 raises to $2.25, Hero raises to $8, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls $7.50, MP2 calls $5.75

Table is playing somewhat tight, somewhat passive. There's a raise and I pick up this huge hand. I decide to come right back over the top. Of course, some fuckin clown who limped UTG+1 calls $7.50 more like it's nothing.

Flop: ($24.75) 99 of hearts 66 of clubs 55 of hearts (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP2 bets $6.70 all in, Hero raises to $13.40, UTG+1 calls $8.15 all in

Great flop for me, nut flush draw, nut low draw. MP2 bets right into me, obviously the rest of it is going in. Of course UTG can't get away either.

Turn: ($47.75) QQ of clubs (3 players - 2 are all in)

Bricked.

River: ($47.75) 22 of spades (3 players - 2 are all in)

Another brick, great.

Final Pot: $47.75

UTG+1 shows 44 of hearts 44 of spades 22 of clubs 33 of hearts (HI: a straight, Six high; LO: 6,5,4,3,2)
MP2 shows 77 of spades AA of spades AA of diamonds QQ of hearts (HI: a pair of Aces; LO: 7,6,5,2,A)
Hero shows AA of hearts 22 of diamonds KK of hearts KK of diamonds (HI: a pair of Kings)

UTG+1 wins $1.40
UTG+1 wins $1.35
UTG+1 wins $21.35
UTG+1 wins $21.30
(Rake: $2.35)

Our friend UTG+1 scoops a huge pot with that piece of shit hand. Might be a nice hand to see a cheap flop, but not for this price. So it's a bad beat, but I didn't necessarily deserve to beat MP2 though. Ran the numbers and he's actually a 55-45 favorite preflop. I should have been able to put him on AAxx too, there weren't too many preflop raises so I think that was a mistake by me. I have a good enough hand to flat call there, and if we go 3 ways with a smaller pot, maybe I'm able to at least get MP2 off his aces.

I took it like a champ though, didn't berate. Obviously want that guy to be as comfortable in that game as possible.

MP1: $53.70
MP2: $62.40

BTN: $19.10
SB: $10.95
Hero (BB): $27.35
UTG: $21.60
UTG+1: $27.25

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BB with 44 of diamonds 33 of spades 22 of diamonds AA of spades
4 folds, CO raises to $1.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5.50, CO raises to $16.75, Hero raises to $27.35 all in, CO calls $10.60

A little tilty this hand. I reraise against the late position player and he comes right back over the top. I figured he probably has AAxx at that point, but with a blocker and some good low cards plus suits, I go with it. I'm only a 48-52 dog, right? FWIW though, with the folds up front I think my low cards are very live.

Flop: ($54.95) JJ of spades 77 of clubs 44 of hearts

Turn: ($54.95) 22 of spades

River: ($54.95) 88 of diamonds

Final Pot: $54.95

CO shows 33 of diamonds AA of diamonds 99 of clubs AA of hearts (HI: a pair of Aces; LO: 7,4,3,2,A)
Hero shows 44 of diamonds 33 of spades 22 of diamonds AA of spades (HI: two pair, Fours and Twos; LO: 7,4,3,2,A)
Hero wins $26.15
Hero wins $13.05
CO wins $13.05
(Rake: $2.70)

Fortunate there to get 3/4ths, probably need to stop coming over the top in this game, especially where the hands run closer in value then hold'em (where I actually like taking a flop). FWIW was actually a 3-2 dog going in.

MP1: $57.50
MP2: $49.50
CO: $14.20
BTN: $48.50
Hero (SB): $40.80
BB: $12.05

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is SB with AA of diamonds 88 of diamonds 44 of clubs KK of spades
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, BTN calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.25, BB checks

I complete here from the SB, got a little bit of a hand, probably wouldn't play outside of the blinds or maybe on the button raising first in.

Flop: ($2.00) 44 of hearts 44 of diamonds 66 of clubs (4 players)
Hero bets $1, BB calls $1, UTG+1 folds, BTN folds

I am fortunate enough to flop trips with the best kicker, I lead here for $1, in retrospect maybe should have led for more but people were playing decent enough to fold to big bets. I do get 1 call.

Turn: ($4.00) JJ of spades (2 players)
Hero bets $2, BB calls $2

I again bet 1/2 the pot, don't want to lose him. At this point I'm putting him on a low draw, can't see him having anything else. Maybe 35xx.

River: ($8.00) AA of hearts (2 players)
Hero bets $8, BB raises to $8.55 all in, Hero calls $0.55

Ace comes which is a good card if he's sitting there with A3 or A2. I time down thinking about what to do, didn't think he was going to bluff at it, would probably just try to get to showdown. Maybe he calls with an ace, perhaps though he could have AJ2x or AJ3x and call with that. I pot it, surprisingly he puts his last $8.55 in and I am of course happy to see the raise.

Final Pot: $25.10

Hero shows AA of diamonds 88 of diamonds 44 of clubs KK of spades (HI: a full house, Fours full of Aces)
BB shows KK of hearts JJ of hearts 33 of spades 44 of spades (HI: a full house, Fours full of Jacks)

Hero wins $23.85

(Rake: $1.25)

WOW. I made sure to instantly put a note on this player before he left the table. I would have surely been on tilt if that A didn't come on the river and I lost to something I had completely eliminated from being a possibility. Thankfully it didn't happen.

I think I broke even for the session but I honestly don't know. I reloaded a couple of times so I can't say for sure. Still ahead $88 overall, incuding $25 in bonus money. I have $25 more to clear. Good job yourpokercash.com for staking me though, I don't know what the arrangement is with Full Tilt, but I'm sure you at least got your investment back.
