Two interesting O8 hands

Ultimate Bet Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $.25 BB (9 handed) Ultimate-Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

MP2 ($4.17)
MP3 ($24.75)
CO ($6.51)
Button ($22.60)
Hero ($29.69)
BB ($45.50)
UTG ($5)
UTG+1 ($31.43)
MP1 ($3.14)

Preflop: Hero is SB with , , , .
UTG+1 calls $0.25,
3 folds, CO calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, Hero completes, BB checks.

Pretty good hand to see a flop with. I'd like to hit high cards on the flop, but I still do have A2 for lo.

Flop: ($1.25) , ,
(5 players)
Hero checks, BB checks,
UTG+1 bets $0.25, CO folds, Button calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25, BB calls $0.25.

Flop the nut lo draw. UTG+1 only bets a quarter though, so it's an easy call, even though I have to be a little cautious if I get there.

Turn: ($2.25)
(4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks,
UTG+1 bets $2.25, Button folds, Hero calls $2.25, BB folds.

I do get there and now this guy leads for pot. I'm relieved to see button fold, so I go ahead and call. BB folds behind me which is also good, but I do worry about UTG+1 having A2xx.

River: ($6.75)
(2 players)
Hero bets $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25.

I have no high hand so I do not want to call a pot sized bet to get to showdown. Instead, I lead for the minimum. I'm hoping this gets him to just call with A2xx and even with some FH hands (this is after all Omaha).

Final Pot: $7.25

Results:
Hero has Td 2c Ah Qh (low, 6,5,4,2,A)
UTG+1 has Jc Qs 6c 2s (flush, queen high)
Outcome: split pot

Wow, just a flush, and the 3rd best one on a paired board but I guess it made sense with the betting patterns. Next hand.

Ultimate Bet Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $.25 BB (10 handed) Ultimate-Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

SB ($27.40)
BB ($25)
UTG ($19.84)
UTG+1 ($8.18)
Hero ($29.07)
MP1 ($33.25)
MP2 ($17.58)
MP3 ($14.79)
CO ($4.11)
Button ($30.81)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with ,,,.
UTG+1 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25,
2 folds, MP3 raises to $0.5, 1 fold, Button calls $0.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25.

Ambitious call maybe, but I like these hands because I figure if I hit there's not going to be a low out there. I of course have to call the minraise.

Flop: ($2.85) , ,
(5 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks,
MP3 bets $0.25, Button folds, UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25.

Not the greatest flop but getting over 14:1 closing the action I have to see the turn.

Turn: ($3.85)
(4 players)
UTG bets $3.85, UTG+1 folds, Hero folds, MP3 raises to $14.04 (all-in), UTG calls.

I hit a set on the turn but UTG insta-leads for pot. Ugh. I desperately try to put him on a range but can't assign him one possible hand other than AK. Couldn't even put him on the other hands that beat me, because he probably leads for less than pot with 98 and he would not slowplay the flop and then pot that turn with QQ. Then I start to think about implied odds but dismiss that notion rather quickly as I am not getting paid off by AK on a paired board for any worthwhile amount. After agonizing for about 15 seconds I make the disciplined laydown. Once MP3 moves in I figured they both had AK.

River: ($31.93) (2 players)

Final Pot: $31.93

Results:
MP3 shows Kc Ad 5s Th.
UTG shows Ah 8d Kd 2h.

Yep. One good thing about this game is that players are forced to tip the strength of their hand which makes your decision pretty easy, even though it hurts folding sometimes.
