Well it appears that Dragonroom/VietBet/whoever runs this network no longer offers the nightly $.50+R NL Omaha. Haven't seen it for the past several nights. Doesn't make sense to me. The only reason I can think of is that perhaps the site is protecting the bad players that go broke too quickly in this, but the stakes are so small that it shouldn't really matter. Also the game was attracting a pretty solid group of regulars (or at least semi-regs) and with it being only 1-rebuy and 1-addon the most one can lose is $1.55.  So what that means for me is that any play on this site going forward basically has to be the Texas variety of hold'em which honestly is not a game I enjoy that much. And with other activities occupying my life right now, my play might be limited anyways. I do still plan on keeping the blog going, so I'll see what I can do to stay involved in the game.  I guess that's it for now.

Here we go again, another last second registration in the $.50+$.05 LOLMAHA. 9 players entered and there were 6 left when I joined at the end of the rebuy/add-on period. I declined to take the add-on and started to second guess myself a bit when all but one player had me covered. Played squeaky tight but then got K ♥ 5 ♥ 8 ♠ 7 ♠ in t he SB and completed after everyone except the button came in for the 100 BB. Flop J ♥ 4 ♥ 2 ♥ , awesome sauce. 2nd nuts here is fine by me with only 1300 left. I do elect to check being first to act and it checks around. Turn T ♦ and I bet 300 into 600. I don't think anyone has much so looking to induce some calls and then stick the rest of it in on the river and hope people feel committed enough to call. I get two calls. River 9 ♣ and I do stick in my last 1k, and get 1 call. My opponent mucked J ♠ T ♠ 5 ♦ 3 ♥ and just like that I have 3500.
