Update
Didn't
realize it had been almost 2 months since I last updated this. So yeah,
really just haven't been playing at all. A few weeks ago I was
available to log in and play a nightly LOLmaha but the site couldn't
connect. Didn't think much of it, said "oh well" and did something else.
But when I couldn't log in again or get on the actual website itself
then I started to think something was up in the poker room.
Looked on twoplustwo to see if there were any posts about it, and someone wrote that the management on another forum referred to the players as "FREE ROLLING SCUM". LOL. Can't find that post anywhere on the online internet though and too bad because that would be a fun thread to read I'm sure. 🍿🍿🍿. I can't really blame them for that sentiment though because the only time the site had any type of traffic was during the Sunday night freeroll. Then of course there were other players like me on there that were pretty much hoarding money from free bankroll offers. Haha.
Turns out they are in the process of moving servers and my bankroll was actually moved to the sportsbook. So it appears I can actually make a wager if I want to, but right now none of this weekend's college football or NFL slate has anything that jumps out at me as good value. Best option I think right now is Patriots -7.5 for +115, but don't like the idea of giving up that extra 1/2 point given how possible it is for the game to be decided by exactly 7 points.
So that's it for now, other than I will make one mention that we got a new cardroom opened in the area and I'll check it out at some point. It's actually Chasers poker room in Salem, NH which basically came out of nowhere, bought a property that was a former Chinese restaurant and had a really quick turnaround time to get the room opened. So kudos to them. Right now it appears most of the action is $1/$2 NL but they have had some $1/2 PLO going some of the time and some interest for $1/$2 PLO8 (according to PokerAtlas) so something I'll be watching closely. Also Cheers is still in the process of finalizing their opening date as well. Hoping the area can support two rooms and that they're not competing with each other to the point where one is trying to drive the other out of business. Would be good to have the two rooms so if one is hosting a big tournament the other can host cash games or maybe one can be the place for Omaha or other game action instead of it always being HOLD'EM HOLD'EM HOLD'EM. We'll see how it goes.
