Didn't realize it had been almost 2 months since I last updated this. So yeah, really just haven't been playing at all. A few weeks ago I was available to log in and play a nightly LOLmaha but the site couldn't connect. Didn't think much of it, said "oh well" and did something else. But when I couldn't log in again or get on the actual website itself then I started to think something was up in the poker room. Looked on twoplustwo to see if there were any posts about it, and someone wrote that the management on another forum referred to the players as "FREE ROLLING SCUM". LOL. Can't find that post anywhere on the online internet though and too bad because that would be a fun thread to read I'm sure. 🍿🍿🍿. I can't really blame them for that sentiment though because the only time the site had any type of traffic was during the Sunday night freeroll. Then of course there were other players like me on there that were pretty much ...
I moved down to NL $25, didn't help. Got KK early on, with one limper I make it $1.25. Shorty goes all-in for $6. I call. Board is Axxxx and I lose to his A9. Got QQ, reraised preflop from the SB, then it comes AKx. Check/fold. So I decided to leave and ride out the rest of my bad streak at $.01/$.02 NL. I opened up 4-tables. I got 250 hands in, but didn't play ideally since the action was so fast (though I wasn't intentionally playing bad, just making poor bet sizes mostly). Didn't matter, I just wanted to blow some steam and hopefully end this rut here. Towards the end of my session this hand occurred. Here's the raw hand history: PokerStars Game #10393716853: Hold'em No Limit ($0.01/$0.02) - 2007/06/12 - 01:15:02 (ET) Table 'Janus V' 6-max Seat #3 is the button Seat 2: Michael1029 ($0.84 in chips) Seat 3: JackStacks ($8.34 in chips) Seat 4: redsoxfan545 ($2.53 in chips) Seat 5: rsty841 ($0.98 in chips) Seat 6: clmarks ($6.35 in chips) redsoxfan545: p...
Had another bad session yesterday. Actually I didn't play badly at all, I just took two horrible beats. I was taking a shot at NL $50 too. Lost to JJ twice. One hand I had 55 in a raised pot, I called from the BB, and flopped a set (9-6-5 flop I believe). Anyway, get it in with a half stack, he has JJ, river J. Great. Another hand I have KK and resolve to play a big pot with it. I raise to $3, SB calls. Flop comes 9 high, he checks, I bet pot, he calls. Turn is a blank, same action. River is a jack, he shoves for the remaining PSB, I call. He has JJ, sigh. Really wish I didn't keep getting two outed. So tonight I decide to take a shot at $100 NL (6-max of course) after the Red Sox beat the Rockies 2-1 due to great pitching to take a 2-0 lead in the series. I sit in with $100, leaving me a measly $5.12 if I lose it. But I resolved to try and get up $45 and then leave. If I go broke I take a break or redeposit or whatever. Sick and tired of grinding it out at NL $25 just to get t...
