8 off the money in the Sunday Freeroll. Actually got off to a good start, got QQ first hand 1 caller and got 2 streets of value out of him, then hit some other hands and got my 2k starting stack up to 3500 but never could get above that. People were dropping like crazy and we had 100 people eliminated at the 1hr break (259 started). I was below average stack at that time but still had enough chips left. Ended up only winning 1 more pot though (KQ utg raise which took the blinds + antes) and escalating blinds/antes kept eating at my stack. Down to 2200 I had 9 ♥ 8 ♥ and went with it. Got instacalled by the guy on my left and it was for 1/3 of his chips. Don't even put any thought into it buddy. The BB also called. Board runs out 654r with 1 ♥ and an offsuit 3 on the turn when my buddy on the left blew the BB out of a dry side pot. Of course he had the goods with A ♦ 7 ♦ and I don't get my miracle on the river. Trying not to be results oriented from these last 2 tourney...

Stands for idiots counting money. Actually ran good in tonight's GPP and didn't even take the add-on. Late registered at the last second so started with 1500. Thought I would be whamboozled early after I shoved on top of a limper from the button with 55 and got 2 calls. Both geniuses got it in on a T9x flop (BB had QJo, CO who open limped had JT). Turn was a blank and I spiked a miracle 5 on the river to stay in the tournament and triple up. From there I mostly stole blinds and antes and that got me to the final 2 tables. Had two times my all-in shoves were called, A ♥ Q ♥ UTG vs MP AQo and the same player calling me with A9o when I also shoved with A9o. Chopped both times. Still was able to take the escalating blinds and antes enough where I was 7th in chips with 16 left. However with blinds rapidly going up starting finding myself somewhat card dead and not able to steal anymore with people shoving in front of me. Got down to 13 left with 10 paying and a few stacks reall...

Close but no cigar

Late registered for the $50 GPP and took the add-on but did not really get many good hands tonight. Had A4 in late position shortly after the rebuy ended and raised with it only to get reraised by the player to my left and had to toss it. Then had Q ♣ T ♣ in one of the blinds and got a look at the flop in an unraised pot. Called a small bet on a board of AQ2r with 1 ♣ . Turn 3 ♣ and it goes check by me, player to my left minbets 200, and the other guy shoves. The other guy called with Ace whatever but I had the discipline to lay it down and of course the guy who shoved had a set of deuces, and of course the 4 ♣ comes on the river. Looking like I'm going to be getting blinded out of the tourney with ~30 left as I am getting absolute shit for cards. Nothing I can even shove with and facing at least a limper in front of me most of the time. Finally have about 4bb left and get Q7o in MP with a couple of folds in front of me. I have to go with it and fortunately I'm able to take d...

In tonight's freeroll out of 273 entrants. 34 away from the money but not bad. Actually drew a tight table to start which is rare in this. Got 3 walks in the BB! Other than that won a few small pots but couldn't really accumulate a whole lot of chips. Got moved to another table and ended up shoving on top of a raise and a call with AKo. Original raiser shoved all-in himself and the next player called. OG raiser had AKo as well and the calling donk had A6. Thankfully no 6 came and we split that guy's money. That got me up to 3500 or so but blinds kept eating at my stack and was so card dead. Got down to 800 with blinds going up to 200/400-50 and had to shove UTG+2 with KTo. Got called by the BB with K6 and he spiked a 6 on the flop. Ah well. Prior to the tournament played for a bit in a PLO $.02/$.04 cash game. Shorthanded but it let me buy in for $1.60. One hand I had AT98 (suited to the ace) and limped in from the CO (which was first position in the 4 handed game). Bot...

So much for lower variance

In PLO8. Finally found an active table where they were spreading it and this shit happens. Seat 1 is the button Total number of players: 3 Seat 1: Seat1 ( $ 11.70 USD ) Seat 4: hero ( $ 2.44 USD ) Seat 9: Seat9 ( $ 8.47 USD ) hero: posts small blind [$ 0.05 USD] Seat9: posts big blind [$ 0.10 USD] ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to hero [A ♠ T ♦ A ♦ J ♦ ] Seat1 folds hero raises [$ 0.25 USD] Seat9 calls [$ 0.20 USD] ** Dealing Flop ** [ 2 ♣ K ♣ 9 ♥ ] hero: bets [$ 0.60 USD] Seat9 calls [$ 0.60 USD] ** Dealing Turn ** [ 7 ♠ ] hero: bets [$ 1.54 USD] Seat9 calls [$ 1.54 USD] ** Dealing River ** [ 4 ♠ ] And of course he has A ♣ 4 ♣ 4 ♥ 7 ♦ Yeah so I was getting freerolled for low there on the turn but I figured my AA was still good for high and I was right. I figured he was probably going for low only, he did have a club draw too but don’t see how I can check/fold on the turn. Of course hits the 4 on the river. Seat 1 is the button To...
